Introduced to us through a custom order, this Yellow Stonefly is a more traditional stonefly pattern.  The body has a small red hotspot at the rear which imitates the insect's egg sack.  The body is tied using yellow dubbing, and the wing is made of elk hair.  The thorax has a base of dubbing with brown hackle wrapped on top of it.
