The Stonefly Jig is a general imitation of the nymphal stage of various smaller species of Stoneflies. This fly rides hook point up and is weighted with a small bead to allow for better movement. The tail uses a pair of black goose biots, and the body is formed using black ultra wire. The thorax is tied using black ice dubbing with two pairs of rubber legs underneath.
Hook size: Barbless Jig size 16.
