Royal Coachman

A pattern requested at our local TU chapter meetings, the Royal Coachman is a well-known wet fly. Golden pheasant feather fibers are used to make the unique tail. It has a three-section body with peacock herl on either end and red floss in the middle. Brown hackle forms the beard. Meticulous tying of white quill fibers creates the wings.

Hook size: Dry Fly size 14.
