Old Salt started out as an entry for the Flymen Fishing Company Faux Bucktail Throwdown 2017 contest.  It is our take on Lefty's Deceiver.  Many features were kept the same, such as the red throat made out of flashabou, the two-feather tail, and the crystal flash.  We replaced the traditional bucktail with the new Flymen Faux Bucktail and added a head comprised of Game Changer chenille, a fish mask, and two "living" eyes.  This fly is a must-have for any saltwater fisher, but it is not limited to the sea.
