The Little Black Stonefly resembles its namesake and is mainly used in the winter months. The tail of the fly is made with two black goose biots. The main body uses fine black dry fly dubbing, and the wing is solely pearl crystal flash. The thorax contains more black dubbing underneath black hackle.
