This pattern has fulfilled many of FB2B's wishes as it has been challenging to tie and is somewhat unsinkable.  A combination of a Humpy, a Stimulator, and a Hopper, the Humpulopper is very versatile.  The tail of the fly is made using bleached elk hair.  In order to provide additional buoyancy, a strip of foam is tied over the underbody, which is created using yellow dubbing and brown hackle.  Elk hair is used again as the wing, along with some crystal flash.  For the head we wrap peacock herl under the grizzly hackle for more flash and noticeability.
