For our 50th pattern, we decided to honor the heritage of our grandfather and our volunteer CFO (our mom). What an awesome name this fly has!

The Czech Mate Depth Charge uses hare's mask dubbing for the body. Tan chewee skin forms the back, supported by copper wire for ribs. The collar consists of rust dubbing. A black nickel countersunk bead produces the head. This fly is our first offering for Czech Nymphing.
