The Blue Winged Olive is a classic mayfly imitation, and this parachute version will help you match the hatch without losing sight of your fly.  The tail of the fly is formed with hackle barbs from a medium dun feather.  A synthetic quill is wrapped to create a tapered body, and olive dubbing is wrapped to form the thorax.  The parachute is made using white CDC as the post and a light dun feather as the hackle.
